A game truck party is a mobile video game party that comes directly to your home or event location. Instead of taking a group of kids to an arcade or entertainment centre, a fully equipped gaming trailer arrives at your door and becomes the party venue.
Guests step inside, choose their games and play together on multiple gaming screens while a Game Coach helps organize the experience.
It’s an easy way to host a gaming birthday party – the games, consoles, screens and entertainment all arrive with the truck.
What Happens at a Game Truck Party?
When the gaming trailer arrives, our team parks and prepares it before the scheduled party time.
At the beginning of the party, the Game Coach welcomes the players, gives them a few simple instructions and helps everyone get started.
Then the gaming begins.
Players can choose from 150+ video games on PS5, PS4, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Wii. With 8 gaming screens, different groups can play different games at the same time.
Up to 32 players can play at once, depending on the games selected.
What Does the Game Coach Do?
The Game Coach stays with the players throughout the party.
The Coach helps guests:
- Choose games
- Set up controllers
- Start and change games
- Organize multiplayer groups
- Move between games and screens
- Solve simple gaming or equipment problems
- Keep the party organized
Parents can also tell the Game Coach if there are particular games or types of content they do not want available to their children.
What Do Parents Do During the Party?
This is one of the easiest parts of a game truck party.
Because the gaming takes place inside the trailer and the Game Coach manages the gaming, parents do not have to organize games or entertain the group themselves.
Parents are welcome to come inside, watch the kids or even join a game.
Or they can simply relax while the kids play.
What Games Can Kids Play?
Our gaming trailer carries 150+ video games, including racing, sports, action, adventure and party games.
Players do not all have to play the same game. With multiple consoles and screens, different groups can choose different games at the same time.
Fortnite and Roblox are also available as free optional add-ons. To play these online games, the customer must provide access to a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection at the party location, and players need to use their own game accounts.
How Long Is a Game Truck Party?
Our regular game truck parties are 2 hours.
The gaming trailer normally arrives 15–30 minutes before the scheduled party time for parking and setup, so the setup does not take away from the booked gaming time.
Additional gaming time can also be added, subject to availability.
What Ages Are Game Truck Parties For?
Game truck parties are especially popular for kids and teens, but there is no need for everyone at the party to be the same age or have the same gaming experience.
With a large selection of games and several gaming systems, beginners and experienced players can find something they enjoy.
Game truck parties can also be fun for adults, families and mixed-age groups.
Are Game Truck Parties Only for Birthdays?
No. Although birthday parties are one of the most popular reasons to rent a game truck, mobile gaming also works well for larger events.
